Hello. It's me. I was wondering if after all these months you'd like to see... a blog post. From me.
#SuccessfulAdeleReference
But for real: it's been much too long since I've had a "real" post. The last two were desperate last-second, wordless posts just for the sake of having at least one post a month.
Sorry 'bout that.
However, here I am, writing actual words mid-month (embarrassingly proud of this) so that I can produce a blog post that I actually want you all to see.
I recently had a few photoshoots with some friends for an assignment, and I do really want to show you how some of them turned out. This one that I'm sharing with you today was taken in a few various locations around town and I shot in a style that's a little different than usual. I tend to lean towards bright colors, white light, natural expressions, and typically there's something flowery or sparkly in there too. With this photoshoot, I wanted to experiment with a darker, shadowy, dramatic style, and I'm actually loving how they turned out.
This is also helped because I have the most beautiful friends to shoot with. Together, my friend Alana and I decided to go for a dark, natural, nymph-like look and she looks like a forest queen. A big thank you to my stunning model (really though, I had her pose in the cold- barefoot, makeup-less, and in a sleeveless dress)!
Without further ado, here are some of the results of the shoot (and once again, I'm sorry for Weebly's upload quality that makes these so blurry and out of focus).

It's different. It's dark. It's natural. I kind of like it.
