You know how the song goes. Don't pretend you don't.
Hello to my 157 readers (according to weebly's stats)! If that number is true, that is absolutely insane since I made this three days ago. Because I only made this website 72 hours ago, you don't know much about me. That is why this post is all about things I like. WARNING: I'm writing them all in quick little sentence fragments, so no judging my ability to correctly structure sentences in the English language. Alright. Here goes...
Watching feet develop on macarons. When everyone's hands go up to praise God during worship songs and everyone's voices blend together into one big, living thing. Wearing freshly washed, cute pajamas. When the lighting is perfect in some of my pictures. Finding brand name stuff for a 1/32nd of the cost at thrift stores. Finding hilarious stuff like dinner plates with ugly children's faces painted on them at thrift stores. Folding crisp dollar bills. Antlers. MUGS (but you already knew that). Writing stories and hearing the quick clacking of the keys. Ampersands (&). Ice cream. Especially cookies and cream or plain old vanilla. Old cameras and old suitcases. Reading. Hot soup. Psalm 138:8. Running 2 plus miles and still feeling great. The extremely thin, almost silky feel of my Bible's pages. Fresh flowers. Fuzzy socks. Fall. Mochas. Chai tea lattes. The upside down, twisted feeling in your stomach when you go down a scary roller coaster. Combat boots. Disney and Disney Channel movies. Sucking on chocolate so it melts in your mouth. Freezing spoons full of canned frosting and licking the spoons. Cheese. When stores have food samples (FYI: Fred Meyer does great dessert samples at the bakery most days- generous portions!). British accents. Rustling of leaves in the trees. The smell of pumpkin. Snow. The smell of new houses (sawdust, paint, and something indescribable..) Traveling. Tiny daisies and delicate lace. The color white. The color of Tiffany blue mixed with robin's egg blue mixed with a pale European sky blue. Vespas. Polka dots and florals. Good music. Skinny, skinny jeans. Freshly dried clothes. Cake, pie, cheesecake... The silky feeling of hair right after it gets washed by the lady who cuts my hair. Being recognized, appreciated, admired, etc. by people I do or do not know (Mystery Person who messaged me the other day, I'm looking at you!) Friends, family, God, and my wonderful 157 readers who took the time to read a "few" of my favorite things. ♡
This was supposed to be short, but I couldn't stop myself! Now it's your turn! Comment below with some of your favorite things. It doesn't have to go on for twenty pages like my list, but even if it does, I want to hear it anyways. I think that writing all of these out really improved my mood. I'll go to bed smiling like Mr. Bean. ☺
