I love food. LOVE IT. If you give me a little bit, I could start talking up a storm about my favorite cheeses, breads, fruits, desserts, etc.
I also love meals that look pretty when plated and are "balanced".Take this meal for example: it has fruit, vegetables, wheat, and protein. It's a meal I've repeated multiple times.
It's a delicious salad, a piece of whole-grain toast, and a handful of grapes. The salad is red peppers, grilled chicken, cheese, pinto beans on top of a bed of crispy romaine lettuce and dressed with a BBQ ranch. The BBQ ranch is just Hunt's BBQ sauce mixed with regular ranch. It's really simple and extremely tasty.
And the bread? Ooooohh. BREAD. It's Dave's Killer Bread, which you should go out and try right now if you haven't ever had it before. My favorite way to eat it is using coconut butter instead of regular butter (since I can't stand the flavor of regular butter!) and sprinkling it with cinnamon. A LOT of cinnamon (because I do however love the taste of cinnamon!)
I would also like to mention how amazing these grapes were. You know how sometimes grapes are all squishy and taste funny? Well, these ones were perfectly crisp and full of flavor. There is nothing better than biting into fruit- any fruit- and having it taste even better than you would have thought!
And of course, since I ate this balanced meal, it totally justifies a huge bowl of ice cream later in the evening (topped with cinnamon of course!).
