Okay, okay. I'll admit it.
I'm a first class outfit repeater.
Please don't tell anyone. Every girl knows that this fashion offense is practically one of the Seven Deadly Sins, but sometimes I ignore this unspoken law and slip right back into the outfit I wore the day before. Oops.
Now that I've confessed I can get to the point of today's blog post. I am going to show you my Saturday outfit which was also my Thursday outfit. It uses two of my most recent thrift purchases which you can see in my last post: Thursday's Thrift Haul.
This whole past week had brought the most beautiful weather ever. It's sunny and clear outside and it's felt more like summer than spring. Which is great and all until you get to cardio class where you run 3 miles in 80 degree weather. Yuck.
I wanted to wear something light so I wouldn't sweat to death and comfortable since I had to sit through seven hours of high school classes. Except, you know in cardio where I ran instead of sat... but you get the idea.
Well, to fit those two requirements, I came up with this.... (by the way, taking these pictures was an extremely funny process which I will share with you soon!)

Today (and Thursday) I was extremely comfortable and casual in American Eagle dark denim shorts, a soft long-sleeved Forever 21 top, and a colorful, floral patterned American Eagle scarf. The look was completed with a stack of thin, colorful bracelets, my awkward hair-tie on my wrist, my black high-top Converse (which I could not fit into the picture...) , and every white girl's favorite accessory- Starbucks!
Let's also ignore my hair, which is a special look I like to call "Saturday Hair". It's when you wake up at noon, quickly wash your hair, let it air dry, and don't do anything to it other than comb it down with your fingers.
I'm thinking about making a blog tutorial on how to do it correctly. You can all learn how to style your pretty locks into "Saturday Hair". Let's trend it.

Carrying on.... As you may remember, the Converse high-tops and the black Forever 21 shirt were both thrifted for a grand total of less than 9 dollars. SCORE.
I would like to share with you all that my Converse have already become one of my favorite thrift store purchases. They are so comfortable and I have received several compliments on them which makes my $5.50 that I spent on them well worth it!
The rest of my outfit was also pretty cheap which gets me pretty dang excited.
Marshalls carries American Eagle clothes but at a discount, so I picked up these brand new AE denim shorts for $13 but I had a $5 gift card left over from a Christmas gift return, which made these shorts come out to be a whopping $8! Retail they're about 30-40 depending on if there's a sale going on, so needless to say, I saved a lot of money!
I ordered the scarf from American Eagle's website on clearance. It just so happened that there was a 50% off all clearance sale going on that weekend, so the scarf went from $20 to just $10. Yay! But it gets even better. American Eagle had sent me a coupon that was good for $10 off any purchase, so my scarf was free. FREE. FREEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I like me some free clothes.
Which brings me to my bracelets which were given to me in a set from Target by a friend for my birthday last year. I'm loving them with this outfit (not that you can see them very well in the picture, but whatevs).
In case you haven't been counting it up, this brings the grand total of my outfit to under $20! I call that a success. And an outfit worth repeating. A lot.
Now, let's talk Starbucks, which as I said before, is the best accessory for any outfit. (but seriously. Every Pinterest outfit I see includes a Starbucks cup...)

Yes, I realize that I'm just a stereotypical white girl with my high-top Chucks and a Starbucks in hand. It's gotten to the point where a friend at school has started calling me basic. It's so embarrassing.
But I'll get over it because I really like coffee.
Actually, in my defense, this wasn't even coffee and Starbucks is not my favorite place to get it when I want it. Today I branched out and had a tea latte instead of a mocha from Dutch Bros which is way more delicious. (that's right everyone. I've gone Dutch. GOOOO DUTCH BROOOOOSSSS)
I'm still shocked that I branched out though. I mean, I'm the kind of girl who will order a peppermint mocha until June even though it got weird after Christmas. Because what if you order something new and you hate it?! I always think I'll end up regretting whatever new thing I try.

Yet I still tried an iced green tea latte with nonfat milk and a pump of vanilla. And oh my goodness. It was tasty!
Not as good as a Dutch Bros mocha, but at least I'm not regretting drinking this.
Also, I'm extremely jealous of my barista's handwriting. It's so... fun looking. I have a scrawl that some doctor somewhere is using as inspiration for his signature. No matter what I do, I cannot get my handwriting to be cute and neat. Unfair.
Aaaaaannnnnddddd you guys can see she wrote my nickname. Yes, I have been hiding that my name is not actually Allison. I am also Ally.
I know, I know. You guys can't even handle my Hannah Montana-like news.
But now that it's out in the open, let's move on. Do you repeat outfits too? Are there other fashion offenders out there?
I won't judge.
-Allison (or is it Ally?!)
