Ten days. Ten. Ten days without posting a thing on the blog.
I feel like a failure. However, I do have an excuse. My parents went off on a two week adventure of the Holy Lands, leaving my brother and I to stay at our grandparents. It's actually been a ton of fun. We've gone on bike rides, explored multiple garage sales and thrift stores, and played more games than I can count. Basically, I've been so busy hanging out with my grandparents that I just haven't gotten to writing a new post for Sunshine & Storms.
That changes now.
This is just a quick post explaining what I've been up to, but in 1-3 days you can expect a thrift store and garage sale haul! All the random thrift store stops have resulted in a few finds I'd like to show you all!
Now on to what I've been up to...
I have a Bible study with a few close friends from church and we just started our second book, "Jesus Is" by Judah Smith. I might post something on it once I've read our first section! And I know you're not supposed to judge a book by a cover, but I couldn't help it! It's cover looks like a Rubix cube which already excites me. Actually, I'm probably more excited about the fact that we finally finished our first book and are moving on to a second!
My dad's birthday and my mom's birthday are within the same week, and that's coming up here really fast. I found the perfect gift for my dad which I really want to show you, but I have to wait until after the event because he reads my blog! (hi Dad!) Unfortunately, I'm still looking for my mom's gift. Any ideas? Leave them in the comments below!
Uh.... I suppose that's all I want to say for today! But expect new posts soon! If you want to be sure that you don't miss out on any new posts, simply enter your email in the box in the bar to the right. Any new blog posts on Sunshine & Storms will be automatically sent to your email. I love living in the twenty-first century.
I'd also like to share that my last post on how to heal acne scars was my second most popular blog post so far. I'd like to thank all my readers who apparently were very interested in the fading of acne scars. Woo hoo.
