Here's my post covering my thrifty haul as promised. Because I deliver. I deliver like a pizza delivery guy. Yeah, just brushing up on my similes while school's out. #overachiever #nerd
Anyways, while I was staying at my grandparents we did a lot of thrifting and garage sale-ing. Fortunately, I had pretty good luck and brought home a few things!
The first item I bought was a super soft tee shirt I found at Goodwill.

The first item I bought was a super soft tee shirt I found at Goodwill.
It's a perfect fit and extremely soft. It's a pretty navy color with green lettering that reads "All I Want" and a little silver bow graphic.
This tee was originally part of a Christmas pajama set (hence the "all I want" saying printed on it) from aerie and I can't wait to buy plaid pajama shorts to wear with it. Aerie is American Eagle Outfitter's lingerie/ swim/ pajama store, and their stuff is so comfortable. This shirt will be perfect with some matching pj bottoms, a cup of hot cocoa, and a good book.
COST: $3.20

The second thing I bought from Goodwill was this awesome camera lens for my Canon!
Wait... hold on a second...
Wait... hold on a second...
Why is there a hole in the top of my new lens?!
That's right! This "camera lens" is actually a travel mug. How perfect is this? Actually, it's pretty dorky. It has to be the dorkiest item I've ever thrifted but I couldn't resist!
Because I have a thing for photography. And mugs.
COST: $1.80
Lastly, I purchased a two-in-one DVD at a garage sale that was run by two adorable little girls. I actually caved and bought a jumbo bag of homemade muddy buddies from the girls too. Their eyes were just so big and pleading and I felt so much guilt about walking away without buying any of the treats from their lemonade stand.
Result? One huge bag of muddy buddies (COST: ¢50). An absolutely no regrets whatsoever.
The movies I bought were Cheaper by the Dozen and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. The movie was brand new and unopened. It was a pretty darn awesome find.

I've already seen both Cheaper by the Dozens (multiple times), but that just means I had to own it so I could watch it again and again! I think this calls for a movie night!
And now that you've seen the rest of my movie collection, I know you'll all be racing to my house to pop some kettle corn and have a movie marathon. It will be awesome. You can bring the drinks and I'll provide the snacks. Deal?
COST: $1.00
That was my small haul! Grand total for a bag of muddy buddies, 2 movies, a shirt, and a mug? $6.50.
That is what I like to call a success.
Have you ever thrifted/garage sale-d anything great? I'd love to hear about it! Leave a list of amazing finds down in the comments below!
